BMI Calculator - Find Your Body Mass Index

BMI (Body Mass Index) is simply the relationship between a person’s weight and height. It is useful in determining the degree to which a person’s body weight may impact their risk for disease or death.

Studies have shown that the higher your BMI is, the higher your risk for certain conditions, such as high blood pressure, diabetes, arthritis, GERD and more. The degree to which these conditions become life-threatening is directly proportional to a patient’s BMI.

Talk to your doctor about your BMI to see if you are at increased risk. A small weight loss (as little as 10% of your body weight) may help lower your risk. If your BMI is greater than 35, talk to your doctor about the possibility of a referral to our comprehensive weight loss management program.
