Coronavirus Prevention Information

Each of us can help control the COVID-19 virus by our own actions. We may be tired of hearing about vaccinations, masking, social distancing, washing our hands and limiting the number of people we see and places we go. We may think these guidelines don’t make any difference. But the evidence is clear. The truth is simply that these measures help stop the rapid spread of COVID-19.

The things we do will determine whether we slow this virus down or allow it to continue spreading out of control.

We’re asking you to follow our lead as your trusted caregivers:

  • Get immunized against Coronavirus and the flu
  • Keep a physical distance from others
  • Stay home when sick
  • Wear a mask
  • Wash your hands regularly throughout the day

Do not host or participate in any in-person gatherings if you or anyone in your household:

  • Has been diagnosed with COVID-19 and has not met the criteria for when it is safe to be around others
  • Has symptoms of COVID-19
  • Is waiting for COVID-19 viral test results
  • May have been exposed to someone with COVID-19 in the last 14 days
  • Is at increased risk of severe illness from COVID-19
  • Is an older adult or person with certain medical conditions who is at increased risk of severe illness from COVID-19, or live or work with someone at increased risk of severe illness

See the CDC’s helpful tips on hosting or attending in-person gatherings for more information.
