Specialty treatment techniques include: McKenzie Method for the spine, Kinesio-taping, Graston Technique for instrument-assisted soft-tissue mobilization, neurodevelopmental treatment (NDT), aging in place and hand therapy.

For patients requiring more intensive inpatient rehabilitation, Summa Rehab Hospital located on the Summa Health System – Akron Campus, provides expert care. This hospital helps patients recover and regain their independence. Summa Rehab Hospital offers 60 private patient rooms, a 5,000-square-foot rehabilitation gymnasium, an outdoor therapy area and an apartment suite to help patients transition back into a home setting with a kitchen, laundry and shower.
